Lovely vintage late 1940s/early 1950s one piece swimsuit by Catalina, with an earth tone seashell print, copyright by California Hand Prints. It has removable straps, and a skirt overlay at the front with a decorative tie. There is a metal Talon zipper and two hooks at the back, and boning at either side of the bust for shape.
Measurements and Condition:
Fits like: Labeled size 34/ weight 115/125 (women's small). We estimate best fits someone 5'6"" or shorter, and it also best fits a slightly larger bust with a small frame (ie 32D).
Fabric: Unknown synthetic - labeled ""protect color - do not roll when wet"", with a built in bra lining in the bust and a plastic lining in the gusset.

Condition: Very good, with light general wear, some discoloration to the bra lining (see photo), and some very minor color bleed on the print (nothing too noticeable because it blends into the print).
